In our major cities, cemeteries are now much
vandalised, ill maintained resting places. Sadly interment in these
areas is no longer
desirable and most bereaved people turn to cremation as a possible
way forward. The cremation service can be a fine occasion but
we know, because we have been bereaved, that a real emptiness
can set in afterwards. We can plant a tree for you and your
family and friends to visit, an oak perhaps in our beautiful
new forest in the Lake District National Park close to Windermere
England’s largest lake.
This will give you much pleasure and is an effective way of addressing
the bereavement process.
Please consider the final resting place for the ashes. We know
that this decision is important to you and few solutions present
themselves. You will even receive advice from the authorities about
where you may or may not scatter them.
We will keep this
tree for all time. A plaque will be placed by the tree bearing
your personal message. A certificate
will be sent
to you which can
be handed to future generations. Information will be included about
how to access the forest. You will be free at any time to visit – 365
days a year. You will certainly visit it in your thoughts every
day. No one has really passed away while we are still thinking
of them.
